Every ancient city had a great square where people met to buy and sell goods, hear speeches, shows or just talk together. Rome, the greatest ancient city, had the finest square or Forum. Of all the stately buildings and platforms, only ruins remain, but it is still exciting to walk among the Columns where crowed of cheering Romans once stood while Cicero and Caeser made their famous speechless.
